Vimeo Video not playing on mobile

  • The video on the front page of the website does indeed play on desktop version of the site, but when i open the website on a phone, the video doesn’t play, even if we click on it it doesn’t work. It was working a couple of weeks ago but now its now. The video used to autoplay whenever we load up the website on mobile.

    Please help me on this.

    WordPress version: 6.1.1

    Mobile: Iphone 13 pro

    I was able to get the video to play on my mobile load when I had the screen landscape orientation and manually clicked play.

    I’m wondering if there’s a pixel break on the autoplay feature. Is the content surfaced from a plugin perhaps or a block? Perhaps there’s a new version of a plugin or theme that can be updated. I saw in the code of the site that it was set at “class=”playing” so I think that’s set correctly.

    All the updates are already up to date. The video is set up in Vimeo. I’m not really sure if any plug-ins is causing this issue. Do you have any additional insights on this ?
