Hi Aaron, thanks for reporting this and providing such helpful details about the issue! This should be relatively to fix; I’ll take a look at it on the weekend.

    Hey Kevin,

Thanks a lot for the update, I just checked but it seems to have the same issue. The vimeo iframe tries to load the same video: https://player.vimeo.com/video/458ab0c2bc?autoplay=1&color=00adef (Which is the wrong one)

After updating, I did click on the update posts button in the plugin settings page. What do you think might be the issue?

Thanks a lot for your help!

@aaron13223 What happens if you open the post URL in an incognito window? My guess is that you need to clear your browser cache to get the latest JavaScript code for your website.

It’s the same because the ahref link is also wrong “https://vimeo.com/526338719/458ab0c2bc”

So I don’t think the JS code will help. (But I checked anyway and it didn’t work)

Just to add on this, I just checked the patch notes with the plugin update which mentions query params.

But it seems like the actual permalink is changed (I thought this might help)

Please let me know if you need any more info on this, thanks a lot!

What’s the video URL that you added to your blog post? (I’m referring to the actual URL that you pasted, not the “expected” URL or embed code that you’re seeing in the published blog post.)

    Hey Kevin,

The url in the post editor is: https://vimeo.com/526338719/458ab0c2bc

This does embed normally when you’ve the plugin deactivated. Thanks again!

Hi Aaron, I just published v2.16.0 with a fix for your issue. Can you verify that it’s fixed? You’ll need to click the “Update Posts” button at the bottom of the plugin’s admin page to refresh the embed code of all existing video embeds.
