• Yesterday I left a post (two actually) regarding a problem I am experiencing with a vimeo imbed using a short code. The problem is that when I display the post in IE10 the video doesn’t appear until I refresh the screen. I don’t have this problem with Chrome or Firefox.

So today, after not receiving any replies on this forum, I decided to check to see if I could duplicate the problem on my laptop using IE10. The video loads properly without the need to refresh. So I go back to my desktop and load the page in IE10 and the video does not appear until I refresh the screen. I don’t get it.

Now I’d love to provide a link to the page, but every time I enter the link using the link button above, it never appears in the post. So once again I’m going to try the link button and also leave a non html link just in case.

    Here is the html link:

And here is the non html link:

  • Quick google search shows that vimeo embeds not working is a common issue with ie10 and unrelated to WordPress.

    Andrew,

My vimeo embed is working. It’s not working correctly on the IE10 that I used to make the post. It also works on my desktop when I refresh the screen. I checked the post with my laptop using IE10 and the video appeared normally.

So I still don’t have an answer to this problem. Every other browser I’ve tested the video displays normally. If it’s just my browser, I can live with that. If it happens on other people’s browsers then that’s a problem.

    Emilio
