Vimeo featured video thumbnail not showing up

Hola!
GREAT plugin. Thank you. My featured images are actually featured videos (I use a plugin called ‘Featured Video Plus’. Youtube ones show up just fine, but vimeo videos revert to the default 45px x 45px thumbnail image from the plugin.
Any clues as to how I can get the vimeo videos to show?
