    Hi,
I already did a test install and played around with parameters.
I’m wondering about one thing: Can I view the content of an unsaved shopping basket?

I can read in the products decribtions:
“Save and view who abandons shopping cart before submitting the checkout form”

How does this work? It is valid in a browsers session? I’m asking because in my tests I had a situation with ghosted baskets (400 in one day), and switched this off.

    Thanks for an answer!

    All the best!

    Regards!

    Hi @kraemit,
    Thanks for your question! ??

CartBounty offers a Live shopping cart monitoring feature – as soon as your visitor adds a product to the cart, it will be immediately visible in your abandoned cart list and you will be able to see the contents of the shopping cart.

Thanks @nauriskolats, for ouy support and your fast answer!

“Live shopping cart monitoring feature” is a pro function? What is the technique behinde?
When I had such ghost cart’s I believed i got a ghost cart every time someone adds some thing to a cart.
How are the products been assigned? It browser session related?

I also read about forcing a user to start an somehow authenticated card by a popup and filling in a phone number or email. Is this also Pro?

    Thanks!

Live cart monitoring as a base functionality that is available in both the free and pro versions. Ghost / guest cart is created as soon as any of the items is added to the WooCommerce cart and it is linked to default WooCommerce sessions. You can test it out yourself simply activating our Free version and adding a couple of products to your cart and then looking in the CartBounty abandoned cart list.

And CartBounty offers efficiency Tools Like Exit Intent and Early capture (only in Pro version) which are intended to increase the ratio of recoverable shopping carts – ones that have either email or phone number that can be used later to remind customer about his abandoned cart.

Hope I have managed to clear some things out ??

    Thanks, @nauriskolats!

    Yes, more clear now.

If the live testing of ‘Exit Intent popup’ does not show up it is something with theme or plugin problem, right?

    Thanks!

If you would like to see Exit Intent in action, please follow these steps:
    1) Make sure that you have enabled it under CartBounty > Tools > Exit Intent and that the testing mode has been disabled
    2) Now open up your store in a Private browser window
    3) Add a product to your cart
    4) Try closing your browser window

You should be able to see the Exit Intent.
Let me know if this doesn’t help.

    Thanks, @nauriskolats!

I think “… closing your browser window” is not a valuable use-case, who will close the browser after doing some shopping? It does not work for me, but it is not that thing now, as I have a complicated setup ??

But anyway: I will continue experimenting a bit, watching ghost shoppings is very interesting ??
BTW: A statistic would be cool and helpfull (most wanted products etc.

    All the best!

The idea of Exit Intent popup is to appear once a customer tries to leave the store with a filled shopping cart. As soon as the customer tries to close the tab or move to a new tab – the popup will appear. And as I mentioned before, this is one of the tools that simply is intended to increase the chances of saving recoverable abandoned carts, it is not the core functionality of the plugin ??

Thank you for the idea and your feedback, we already have this on our wish-list, just have to sort out our priorities for the next updates.

    Best wishes,
    Nauris
