Viewing more events on next page>>>

It doesn’t seem to be playing well with my template, so I am trying to avoid use of the default calendar page on https://lasalabanus.com/live-music/

I break the events down using pages and categories with shortcodes such as https://lasalabanus.com/live-music/main-bar/ but when you click on the next lot of events (or past) it goes to the default calendar page set in the settings page. I would rather a category stays on its main theme page. I am sure this was working previously, but does not any more?

Is there any way to keep the view of a category on its main page and not having it change to the default?

I think I have got myself in a bit of a mess with this, if you see the page you will see what I mean, makes it worse having 2 languages as when it goes to next page it jumps back to English…
