“View results” button displays “File not found”

My pages unfortunately has index/php in them. So while https://studentportal.hermanusvarsity.co.za/course/information-literacy
does not work, the following links does:
https://studentportal.hermanusvarsity.co.za/index.php/course/information-literacy/
If I cannot fix the “View results” button, is there any way that I can remove it? I hate dead links.

Hm, I don’t see ‘View Results’ on https://studentportal.hermanusvarsity.co.za/index.php/course/information-literacy/, so I’m not able to comment on what might be happening there.

I’m not able to dupliate this problem on my test site; clicking on ‘View Results’ after completing a course is working correctly: https://cloudup.com/cFzN8Z6JOC7

What happens if you flush your permalinks? You can do this by going to WP Admin->Settings->Permalinks, then setting them to ‘plain’. Save, then reset the permalinks to your prior setting and save again. Does that help?

Where does clicking the View Results button take you (URL)?

Yes, thank you @cena, I do believe that may be the problem. However, I do not want to change anything right now, since many students have started on the course. When all students have completed the course, I will try this fix.
