• Hello,
    When a new member completed payment via PayPal and then completed the registration form, the new member is shown in the Members tab. His profile can be viewed under this tab.
    On the Simple Membership::Payments section, each payment transaction is recorded. In this section there is a Member Profile column. Clicking the View Profile link will open up the member’s profile page. What I found is not all payments have the View Profile link in this Payment section. Most do, but with some payment records the View Profile link is not present. This link is important for us. Because occasionally a new member may ask his family member to pay for the membership using the family member’s paypal account. Using the View Profile in the Payments section, we can verify the linkage between the payment and the actual new member.

    Can you provide some insights as to what causes the View Profile link in the Payment section not showing up?

    What type of payment system have you set up in your site? Also, has any of your members ever had to renew their account? Has their account ever expired?

    Payment is set up for PayPal only.
    The issue in question is for new member payment and registration.
    Our memberships do expire and to be renewed annual. But it is not that scenario that has the issue. It is mainly on new member payments.

    Can you enable debug mode. Next time a new member registers and the link does not show in the profile, check the log file. Report back with any findings.

    Ok, I have enable the debug mode in the Setting. I don’t know when next time a member will register though. But will let you know what happens.

    We did not have any new registration/payment since I turned on the debug in SWPM. I still keep an eye out on this issue.
