    No, the text content added to your slides needs to fall within the area of slide background.

    What would be the code to retrieve the actual picture description data, so I could show it somewhere else on my page?

    I could imagine a shortcode retrieving the figcaption of the actual picture showing on the slider.
    and I would put this shortcode anywhere else on the page

    any ideas?

    or something in the css that would avoid that the background text overlaps the picture when I reduce the width of the browser like in mobile or tablet view (float? clear?)

    (I actually use text in the slide background as a caption)
