View option: Speaker and Gallery

By default this feature is activated. You should be able to see those options on right top corner of the screen unless you are joining the meeting from a mobile browser. Which browser are you using to join the meeting ? Also, please try updating the browser and see if it works.

Hello! I am also noticing that the option to switch to gallery view etc is missing — by default the user’s screen is popped out. The only option is to minimize the user’s video or to go full screen. https://pasteboard.co/dmfx5I5cMdeK.png

I have tested in Chrome, Safari and Edge. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, I have re-connected the API connection. Do you have any other troubleshooting sugggestions?

Please verify if your browser is latest version. I could not replicate the issue from my side since it is showing for me https://tinyurl.com/ygxx6m6w

Please note: WebSDK might not work when using mobile browsers as Zoom does claim it does not support on mobile platforms. (https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/sdk/native-sdks/web#browser-support)

I have the same question as well, I don’t see the gallery view

I was testing with the Zoom Web SDK and found that we need to add the Chrome Origin Trials meta tag

After I’ve added the meta tag in my testing and found the gallery view option afterwards.

Is there a way for me to add this meta tag within the plugin?

Is this issue occurring for when you join a meeting using https://zoom.codemanas.com/shortcode/#8-embed-zoom-meeting-in-your-browser shortcode ?

For normal join via browser i.e when you join a meeting via browser from “yourwebsite.com/zoom-meetings/your-zoom-post” gallery view seems to be working – plugin has already implementation of “Cross-Origin Isolation” method which is a permanent solution to “Chrome Origin Trials”.

However, testing this with using shortcode: “https://zoom.codemanas.com/shortcode/#8-embed-zoom-meeting-in-your-browser” i have found the issue where “Gallery View” is not showing, will work around a solution for this.

I also don’t have the usual Zoom controls in the top right corner when using my PC laptop. The only thing I have is the option to go full screen with the two arrows.

My Chrome is up to date: Version 96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (64-bit).

I am using the “Join Via a Browser” block.

I want all my users to have the option to see Gallery or Speaker, and all the other choices.

What is the fix for this, for all users on all browsers?

ALSO: After clicking “Join” there’s a choice over the Zoom window to Join by Computer. I’ve never seen this using regular Zoom on my laptop, while I have seen it before on my phone. Two questions: How do I make this not appear for users? Is it possible this is displaying a mobile version of Zoom rather than a desktop version? That might explain both of these errors.
