• In the Front Page Section of the admin Reading Options, I have 1 posts paged. If that is truly for the “Front Page” why am I only seeing 1 post on the archive and category pages? Is there a way to set them differently to show more posts?

  • pezastic,
I guess this a global value, obviously. I heard / read somewhere that the whole posts paged issue is being re-vamped in 1.3, but that could be pure speculation on my part.

I’m confused then. So, there is no way to have the most current post only on the mainpage, and multiple posts on the archive and category pages? I assume one could set up different .php pages for the archives and categories, linking to them from the index.php page, but that would be rather cumbersome.
Alternatively, I could give up on the whole idea of having just one post on the mainpage and change it to show multiple posts. What if I have something like 80 posts in a category? Would I have to set the Reading Options to “80 posts” for the viewer to see all of them? That would make the page very long!
Am I missing something? I’m interested in finding out what others do to make their content accessible.
