“View frontend archive”

    I’ve been unable to get any archive pages to work with either my Custom Post Type or Custom Taxonomies. But what should work out of the box, I’m thinking, is the “View frontend archive” link in the CPT UI. I click it, though, and get the dread “There has been a critical error on this website.” error as a result.

    No fair!

    Any idea why this might be happening?

    That means you have a PHP or server error occurring, and it’s preventing the page from loading at all, not that the archive aspect is broken somehow. Error logs through your hosting should provide more information about what’s going on. Likely some sort of “Fatal error” in the logs themselves.
