I have also found that in the Dashboard/Email settings, you have to tick the Send the Email Notifications box. I have set this and emails are being sent now. The format of the email body in the email sent by the task is, however, very basic i.e. it is one sentence with no line breaks and the example fields in the placeholder are not interpreted. Is there any documentation on setting up emails? I have pasted the email received from the task below as an example:

I would appreciate your advice on setting up task emails.
