The VIEW CERTIFICATE menu item for a course (completed) is missing from the Learner Profile and from the course. The course uses quizzes to mark progress. All quizes are completed and all lessons are marked complete in the user UI and in the backend learner management. A test account was used and all lesson quizzes completed and the test account shows no certificate. Another course for same user, completed, shows the certificate button.

  • Hi @isaaa ,

There are a few things you can check to troubleshoot why the button is not displaying on the My Courses page:

    – Ensure that the course has a certificate template associated with it.
    – In Sensei LMS > Settings, the My Courses Page dropdown is set to the appropriate page.
    – Ensure that a certificate has been created for that course and user. If the certificate template was added to the course after the user had already completed the course, for example, then the user would not have a certificate to link to.

Please also make sure you’re usiing the most current versions of both Sensei (3.6.0) and Certificates (2.0.7).

Let us know what you find.

    FIXED – cause: corrupt certificates

I removed a DRAFT certificate and 7 corrupt certificates.
    I Updated Data for certificates

The 7 corrupt certificates appeared in table without any Learner or Course displayed. All 8 were for same learner and course.

Good to hear! Given this has been resolved, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread.
