VIEW CART Button Broken on PRODUCT pages

VIEW CART button at top right of PRODUCT page does not work; appears after product ADD TO CART button pressed. Other VIEW CART links on the page do work properly

Tried:
1) Removing ALL TwentyTwelve child-theme files, EXCEPT for an skeleton style.css file -> VIEW CART button still did not function

2) Activating TwentyTwelve PARENT theme -> BUTTON FUNCTIONS PROPERLY!!!

OK, I’m TRULY stumped!
Button works when parent theme is activated but NOT with child-theme containing only skeleton style.css file!!!

Have not been able to find error in skeleton style.css OR currently active child-theme style.css.

Sure would appreciate some illumination!
