I enabled the sidebar widget, it displays a link ‘view calendar’ that links to my-site.org/?name=events

That link does not work while my-site.org/events does work.

I prefer to be able to remove that link completely from the widget, but if it has to be there, who to make it work?

(I migrated to version 6, preview migration did not work, but migration itself did).

Hi @brobro, sorry to hear about this. Let’s see. Could you try flushing permalinks, and see if that makes a difference? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/fixing-http-404-errors/#flush-permalinks

Let me know how it goes. I’d be glad to help you out further.

That did not work. I changed the permalinks back and forth, flushed cache, no change. The url ends in ?name=events while the rest of the site has pretty urls. /events/ does work.

Hi @brobro, thanks for trying it out. For me to help you better, could you provide me the direct URL to the page you’re having issues with? I’d like to investigate further.

I’m curious about this. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi @brobro, thanks for getting back to me. I suspect that the plugin was not properly installed. Could you try re-installing the plugin? Moreover, to be safe please test it out on a staging site, before implementing it on your main website.

Let me know how it goes.
