Why wouldn’t it ? Are you making users register/log-in to your site ?

    Thread Starter Taccu123

    (@taccu123)

no, applicants do not register via submission.

As a normal user, you do not have access to the job manager plugin inside the dashboard.

I want that the submitted applications to our website are readable to all registered users(i do not allow anyone to register by themselves).

Momentarly i’m forwarding the submissions as an email to be written as an article which is horrible ugly.

So is there any shortcode or something else that i missed, which allows me to display all submitted applications to all registered users(regardless of power level) ?

If your goal is allow anyone (registered) to view ALL Applications-ONLY that’s not a feature of Job Manager.

As it is now, anyone that’s registered can view their specific Application and NOT ALL. That’s by design as most ATS work this way.

I still don’t quite understand what your wanting or how you are expecting this to work ?

    Oh okay,

    i have a gaming site.

So new members have to sumbit an application to our guild.

This application should be accessible to all members of our community.

So they can discuss about the applications.

Basically all i want is to display all applications to normal, registered users.

Because as i understand the design, now, it’s not possible to view any applications beside beeing an administrator.

topic can be closed, solved it on my own.

If anyone is interested in the solution.

Tweak the needed rights in admin.php.

If you want to allow Editors to access the plugin, change all/or the needed occurances of ‘manage_options’ to ‘edit_pages’.
To allow Authors to access the plugin, change to ‘publish_posts’.
To allow Contributors to access the plugin, change to ‘edit_posts’.
To allow Subscribers to access the plugin, change to ‘read’.

Not true. Author and Editor can also review applications and create jobs.

Your really are using this app outside of the intentions as an Applicant Tracking system, but I can see where it might prove helpful in your example.

What you might want to do, is initially set all NEW to subscriber, that does not have this ability and once APPROVED move the to next level.

I would also HIGHLY suggest you use a User Role Editor.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah that’s a very good suggestion.

Simply there isn’t a “out-of-the-box” solution for me. So why not showing other people with the same intent that this is possible.

Because i tested all other job manager plugins and not a single one lead me this far to my solution.

Great, would be very interested in checking out your site and how you use it.

I would really appreciate it if you gave us a REVIEW for your help.

Also taking the SURVEY (access via the plugin admin area) really helps us too.

    Thanks

    Thread Starter Taccu123

    (@taccu123)

Unfortunately i can’t take part in the survey, beacuse my website has a dash in it.

And with this dash it isn’t accepted as a valid url, in the survey submission form.

Hmm that’s interesting whats your url ? Maybe I need to update something if this is an error ?

OK, I appreciate you reporting this. I have submitted a ticket to Gravity Forms….this is an issue I was not aware of.

As soon as this is fixed I will let you know.
