    Hello,

the checklist’s video optimization tool crashes every single time to a white, slightly red ram error screen when attempting to trust the ‘optimize all.’ First one or so goes and then it does not anymore.
Clicking each video manually after another works, only quite time consuming.

    Thank you,

    ER

    Thanks for your report!

Depending on the amount and size of the videos, “Optimize all” can potentially take up lots of memory on your computer. We’re looking into limiting the number of simultaneous optimization processes to mitigate this risk. However, that would also slow things down a bit due to less work being done in parallel. So it takes some planning, but we’ll happily let you know about the progress on this.

Another option besides optimizing one video at a time would be to optimize them locally on your computer before uploading. That would be the fastest option by far.

Thank you for the detailed response,

I do compress my video via avidemux before uploading, was certain tho that the plugin will always optimize to make it absolutely perfect for ggl webszories as my compressed videos always get optimized by the auto tool.

Please let me know how I could optimize the files on my computer before uploading so that the optimization messages do not trigger when uploading.

    Thank you!

If videos are not bigger than 1280×720, then the message should not show up.

We also recommend cropping videos to only the visible parts, using a format like mp4 or webm and some reasonable compression to keep file size small.
