Videos uploaded to subsites not working

  • Hi ~

    I can upload mp4 videos to the main site on our company’s multisite installation and have them play just fine; but any videos uploaded to any of the installation’s subsites don’t play – they return a 404. Other media files (the only other ones we use are images) are not affected similarly. We’re on pre-3.5 so blogs.dir is still a thing, and I suspect it’s something to do with how htaccess is re-writing for these files. But I don’t see anything anything obviously amiss in htaccess. Help!
