Videos pics from instagram feed not showing

    Hi @rroncero,

    Any “regular” Instagram video posts should display. However, any IGTV or Reels video posts are not supported by the API.

    We do, on occasion, see some issues with the cdn servers. Just make sure in your IG/FB settings, that your country code is set and you do not have any age restrictions, and, of course, that everything is set to “public”.

    Lastly, be sure that you are not running any FB blocking extensions in your browser (like FB Container in Firefox for example).

    I just read this article:

    The Instagram API changed on two days ago. Could this be causing the problem?

    Hi @rroncero,

    Yes, this is a biggie for those using oEmbed, however, we do not use oEmbed, we use access tokens to access posts/profile pics. The oEmbed issue does not affect our FTS plugins.

    same problem, my account is public, there is no age restriction, no blocking extensions in any browser

    Hi, i have absolutely the same problem as rroncero – pictures from images dont get loaded (www.instagram.com/p/CGnShgzoaKD/media/?size=l:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ())

    Thank you for alerting us to this issue. We are looking into it and will get back upon a resolution.

    Hi slickchris, this seems related. We’re noticing that videos don’t load in the Instagram feed at all. Checked video settings for restrictions on age, country code, public, etc.

    I’m also seeing the same issue can be replicated in your demo at https://feedthemsocial.com/instagram-feed-demo/. If you click the Load More button under Instagram grid you’ll see the video two blocks to the right of “Rod Reel Pier” picture is blank.

    I’ve updated the plugin and made sure there wasn’t any interference in browser extensions or security plugins like Wordfence, as well.

    Our developers have addressed the Instagram video images and popup issues in our latest update, just pushed. Please update your free version of the Feed Them Social plugin to version 2.9.0
