Videos and streams lagging when slider changes

Hi there,
I have one big problem with Smart Slider: everytime the slide changes, playing videos and streams on my computer freeze for like half a sec. Can be this caused by a size of a picture in the background of the slider? Or do you have any other idea? Thanks for your help. ??

I am not really sure, but I could imagine that your site is too heavy ( e.g you display a huge number of images / videos on a single page ).
Can you reproduce this problem on other computers / browsers, too?
