    Hi,

I added a few videos to my page, some are 1920×1080 and some are 1440×1080. The videos with 1440×1080 have black bars above and below the video. I tried a lot of different changes in the Videopack settings, as well as different individual settings of the videos in the library. But I have not yet managed to get rid of the black bars. Can you help?

When I add the videos with the standard WordPress video block, they have no black bars. But I really want to use your plugin.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dan

Sorry I missed this question before. If you’re still trying to work this out, can you post a link to a video that has black bars on it? Usually the Videopack player will be set to the aspect ratio of the video so I’d have to look at the page to see what’s causing the problem.

I haven’t found any solution yet. I set up a small test website with two sample videos so that you can have a look:

    https://tinyurl.com/videopacktest

As configuration changes haven’t been successful I kept all default values within this test website. I only chose a thumbnail and added a caption.

One additional information: I use the block editor and add the videos by putting the videopack shortcode in a html-Block. Is that a problem?

Your help is very much appreciated!

Oh, I tried again some config changes and finally figured it out. Constrain ALL videos to default aspect ratio (Default Width: 1920 Height: 1080) did it. I know that I had changed width and height. But I must have missed to choose “ALL”.

Sorry to bother you and thanks for the great plugin!
