I’m hoping to find a plugin that will allow me to track user engagement (percentage of video watched) on video.js videos hosted on a CDN. Ideally these logs could be displayed within a dashboard available to a “teacher” custom role to be able to observe the amount of video viewed by “student” custom role users.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @steveadamsfixedit

    Thanks for using our plugins.

We can’t track actions on embedded content.

We can only track how long a user spent ‘looking’ at a certain page on your site.

So if the video is embedded in a specific/unique page on your site, you will know approximately how long users spent watching the video by seeing the stats of how long the users spent ‘looking’ at the page.

Or we can track certain actions (such as clicking a button) if you create an event trigger for it. So if you create a trigger for a ‘Watch Video CTA’, then you can track how many user clicked that button to start playing the video.

    Hope this helps.
