Video upload without using the media gallery

  • Is it possible to create a custom video uploader on a custom post type?

    I want to use the uploader like on a normal upload field, the one with the button to select the file you want to upload from your pc and not through the media gallery.

    Does someone know any resources to achieve this? or if this is achievable?
