Video Tutorial
-
G’day All,
I find myself being asked by the Local Photography Club committee to provide a WordPress demo site that all the committee members can view and do some testing on and become familiar with before committing to developing a wordpress website for the club photography competitions.
I am both a member of the club and a committee member.
I first looked at and did a demo website for the committee about 5 years ago and did show it to the then and current website admin. However, at the time I was refused to be permitted to demo the sandbox website to the committee or the club. The demo site then was using the Entry Wizard Plugin and the EWZ Rating Plugin.
However, things have changed and now the committee have called for the development of a demo wordpress site using these plugins.
So here I am again 5 years later trying to relearn what I have forgotten so long ago.
My plan is to assist each member run a sandbox website on their own computer via wamp for a few weeks until they decide to either to cancel the project or to proceed. And I expect that I would remain neutral in the decission making as for a website replacement. As the website admin has been doing to old site (very 1995’s) for the past 8-10years and its his little baby and others want change.
In an effort to minimize the amount of questions for assistance both of myself and this support page, I was hoping that someone here has a video tutorial that they are willing to provide a link to, to assist with the configuring of the Entry Wizard Plugin and the EWZ-Rating Plugin for a monthly competition etc and comments, from start to finish, with a limited amount of entries just to save time and effort.
This would be just the basic become familiar with the plugin and learn how to set things up so that they work pretty much first time, without having such advanced features as hooks etc, for those who would be looking to do the admin of the local photography club monthly competitions.
I did do some searches on Youtube hoping to find some tutorials on these plugins, without success, so hoping that someone has or is willing to help as I am limited to viewing most things at present on a mobile device due to current circumstances.
I hope that you are willing to help where possible, and thank you for developing these plugins.
Kind regards,
Craig
