Video Thumbnails and Google Analytics

I want to use Google Analytics to track how often site visitors are viewing the videos (and which videos they are viewing most). I gather that leveraging a goal with event conditions is the likely answer, but I cannot figure out how to make it work with Video Thumnail. Has anyone else solved this problem?
