video thumbnail via posts not showing in Facebook

    We have an odd problem ( well, maybe it isnt – dont know) – when we post a link such as https://charrette.callison.com/?p=686 into Facebook a thumbnail of the video is not created – I have tried an FB plugin for WP but is messed with other things in our WP admin/back-end and had to deactivate it – I checked our Vimeo settings etc and it comes down to a problem with WP or so its seems – any recommendations? we can post any other link with a video and a thumbnail is created – it seems to be with our WP posts that have video – maybe I installed the incorrect plugin?
