Video Thumbnail Not Displaying on Automated Facebook Posts

    I think maybe the new version of WordPress causing this error. Because earlier it was working just fine. But now if I publish a post, it is do appear on my facebook page as well but only with no thumbnail on it. However if I manually post the permalink of my blogpost to facebook than it’s showing the image properly. (So there’s no problem with the og tags neither with the caching I suppose) Also if I submit a test post to Facebook it’s make a post which is perfectly fine again.
    I’m using YouTube videos in my posts. The “If post has video use it as an attachment thumbnail” section is ticked in the settings. (If unticked it is still generate a post with video thumbnail on it if i click to “submit test”…weird) I re-installed it, re-authorized it but still not working as it used to be.

    MagicAce, I understand your frustration, but sometimes people are making a post here, post on our forums, opening the ticket and sending us a message using “Contact us” form at the same time.

    Tickets got answered first, so yes we don’t bother answering all duplicate requests everywhere. We think we better spend time on fixing the issue then on hunting all duplicates and copy-pasting the answer.

    So now for getting out from off topic:

    The answer to the original issue is:

    Facebook changed it’s policy regarding video attachments. THose changes will be accommodated in the next release.
