Video plays but no audio

    My videos play fine on my computer but do not play in WP.
    [video src="https://springvilleroad.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/demodone.mp4" /]
    It is a MOD file that I converted to MP4 using MOVAVI and also tried it with VLC with the same results.

    It’s not WordPress. I downloaded the file and it plays fine in VLC but when I view the same downloaded file in a browser, there’s no sound nor any control to enable it. I suspect there’s something odd in how you coded the audio.

    Thanks for responding Steve, I have been messing with this for days!
    In both cases I’m using the default when I convert to MP4 which is H264. Maybe I should try a different format?

    I’d play around with the audio formats; that stuff is a mystery to me.

    My preference is always to upload the video to youtube and then embed it on my site. It reduces site traffic and youtube is very good about making sure videos work on every conceivable device.
