    Hello,

I uploaded videos on my host (mp4) one via FTP and one via upload feature wordpress.
The videos do plays in safari browser and on tablets (iPad/android)
In other browsers it doesn’t play well.
-Internet explorer and Firefox; sticks on loading.
    -Chrome; only plays sound.

    What’s happening?
What can I do about this?

    Tried different video formats….no result.

    Thanks.

  • Hello peer234
    Thank you for your post.
It is interesting that the video is working properly on phones and tablets, but not on the mentioned browsers. As we have faced the issue which was completely opposite of yours. So, could you send us the link to the page where the video is added and we will test it from our side? It seems that your issue is website specific. We would like to sort the problem out.
    Thank you!

Now we see the problem. It comes out that the problem refers to the server, as the media resource is not loading. Please contact the server support team in order to find out the problem. After, please inform us about their answer.
We will wait for the results.
    Thank you!

    Dear Huge-IT team

i am having similar problems to teh above
video player works like a dream when using it to access externally hosted resoources eg You-tube but videos uploaded to my website media library seem to get stuck and all you see is a buffering wheel
not sure if it is a hosting issue as i have websites with different hosting companies and not working on either
also not obviously a theme conflict issue as problem is the same with different themes
can you help me sort it out
    thanks

    Dear lyndabrook,

Please, include the link to this forum thread in your email as well.

We will wait for your message impatiently
