Video player disappears

  • Howdy,

    I’m adding you tube video to posts using JW Player.

    It displays once fine, after that, the player disappears from all posts that have JW players showing you tube, video from Amazon S3 still display fine.

    When I view the source it looks like the video is still there its just not being displayed

    This occurs on both Chrome and Firefox, haven’t tested IE or Safari yet

    Can you see if toggling the primary rendering method in the admin changes things? Also what if you test with another theme for testing purposes?

    Changing the rendering method doesn’t make a difference.

    I’ve noticed the player does flash up on the screen and then disappears.

    The above happens on chrome, firefox and safari

    It works fine on Android Chrome.

    It works fine(ish) in IE (sizing is a little odd)

    Changed the theme to twenty thirteen and it works fine, so I’m guessing there’s a conflict somewhere.

    Are there any know JS conflicts?

    I do know the plugin uses jQuery. Perhaps your theme was using a different version of it at the same time?
