Video on longer play on iPhone or iPad

  • Just starting a couple days ago videos no longer play on iPhone or iPads. It just buffers continually. They work fine with will Android and all computer browsers.

    The site is password protected.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    Last time I looked into it, video playback on iOS devices didn’t work well with .htaccess password protection, but it’s been a few years since I did any research on it. Here’s a StackOverflow thread I found that looks into the issue. The current version of my plugin doesn’t have playsinline enabled, although the next version will, but don’t expect that to be released soon.
