Video Not Playing For users

  • I am experiencing same issue with logged in vs. not logged in. I also thought WP Super Cache might be involved in the problem. When not logged in, video appears inconsistently, from post to post and page type to page type. When logged in, video appears everywhere.

    WP Super Cache does not serve cached pages to logged-in visitors, per a setting, so I bet the problem has to do with caching.

    I checked through my plugins and I do not have WP Super Cache installed.

    Currently, I can only get a video to play if I have the featured video set to “Replace featured image automatically.” “Replace featured image on click.” and “Open video overlay when featured image is clicked.” only give me a loading spinner and no video.

    I am looking into the plugins I have installed to see if one of them is causing a conflict.

    It looks like the issue has gone away. I’m not sure what fixed it, but I did recently deactivate a plugin that was causing issues elsewear on the site, Push Down Banners: https://pushdownbanners.com/WP/
