Video Not Playing

    Hello,

    I am excited to to have this plugin, but had a little set back. A coupe of problem, and one question.

    Tech Issues:

    1) Setting up was easy enough, but the videos are not playing, Just that ring is going around, and that’s it. It is a short YT video, used the URL, selected YouTube, and tried it.

    2) Not this sample page, but on another testing page, the full screen button was cut off from the screen range. Why did this happened? how can I fix it?

    Question:

    Am I supposed to upload my original videos to somewhere to post it? Then, where? and How?

    Hello,
    Thanks for your interest in our video player. Here are the answers for the questions:

    1. Can you please raise a ticket in our website and share your website access? This issue is strange enough for our developers to have a look at it. Briefly checking at the website, I could see that there is no video source. However, our developers could investigate and will resolve the issue.

    2. Send the link of the page along with the website access to check. This is also unreported. I am sure this is not a bug in the player, but would have been some thing else. We will check and update you.

    Can you please check our documentation to see the posts for the addition of videos from your computer?

    I have some other strange problems too such as a plugin upload being rejected and a plugin install rejected.

    I will do what you suggested. Thank you for taking it seriously. I really do appreciate it, because I have had too many experiences of running around, asking for WP support, plugin support, etc. and eventually being abandoned with no one to help.

    I love the plug. It is beautiful. I am hoping it is going to work. I have a lot of video I would like to post.

    I received the following answer:

    Hi Olivia,

    Our player doesn’t support https://youtu.be/ufLAitMq3zI instead of the above url, please use this url “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufLAitMq3zI”. In future our player will support both formats.

    Although I had a trouble with another video with the older format also, when I changed the format, the videos started playing.

    I replied with other questions and still waiting for the answers.

    1) How can I play my own clips on my hard drive (not uploaded) with the plug in?

    2) Can I change the size of display? (too big for my blog theme)

    3) The “Full Screen” icon gets cut off and won’t show on some pages.

    Hello,
    Yes, you have created a ticket and a developer has been providing technical support. As for your other questions here, the answers are:

    1) How can I play my own clips on my hard drive (not uploaded) with the plug in?
    You should have to upload your videos on your computer hard drive into wordpress media. Other than that there is no way of playing the videos. You can upload it from the videos option in the plugin.

    2) Can I change the size of display? (too big for my blog theme)
    You mean the size of the player. If you mean the size of the player, yes, you can change the height and width of the player as required.

    3) The “Full Screen” icon gets cut off and won’t show on some pages.
    This has to be investigated by the developers. Can you paste your website url in which the full screen icon is cut off. This will help in investigating.

    Thank you for your detailed answers.

    At this moment, I am still not using the player on active pages, so do not have the example for the screen cut-off issues. I do not have control as to which page the problem appears. But I will contact the support with an example in near future, whenever it appears.

    For now . . , I would appreciate it, if you can tell me how I could change the size of the player. I could not find any feature in the “Setting.”

    This might solve the other cut-off problem.

    Hello,
    You can change the height and width of the player on the “HDW Player” tab. I tried to attached a screenshot for your reference, but cannot add it.

    Sorry, but where is the tab?

    Only HDW Player tab I can find anywhere is in the “Setting.” But there is NO place where says anything to do with size, hight or width.

    I appreciate your patience. I am all new to this kind of things. I do not know the obvious some times.

    I uploaded a video using this plugin, the video appears on the web page but when i click over it an error appears saying “Page not found”.
    what could be the problem?
