Video Not Displaying

    Hello!
    I downloaded and activated the YouTube Embed plugin, v. 1.5, to my WordPress site, v 3.1.2. I added the shortcode per instructions onto the page HTML, [youtube]id[/youtube], using my video id from YouTube. Update the page and viewed it and… well, the code appears on the page instead of the video player with the video. Tried this 10 times now with the same result. The plugin is active, I checked.

    What am I missing?
