Video not appearing in posts

  • Hi,
    I am trying to get video to play in the text of my posts. I can upload video files and they show up in my library. But when I click the “Insert into post” button and then check my text, only a dead link shows up. I am not knowledgeable about html codes, etc. I need an easy way to fix this if anyone can tell me how.

    Here is an update from my first post. I now have a live link to the video that I want to show up in my post. But the link opens to new page. How can I get this video to appear in the text and play on the same page?
