Video link won't embed on product page

    I am trying to embed a YouTube video on a product page, but am not having much luck. I have tried copy and pasting the URL from YouTube into the product description, embedding the URL in an iFrame in the product description, and inserting a hyperlink to click to be taken to the YouTube video in another tab in the product description, but none of these will display the video on my product page.

    Am I doing something wrong? I am able to copy and paste the YouTube URL into other pages on my site, but not product pages. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • just gave a try for the heck of it.

    it might be that your main description TAB needs to be ‘text’, not ‘visual’

    other than that I added a new prod. and put a conan o brian vid up in 2 secs.

    Just tested and it works just fine.
    Once you have the embed code from youtube. For example:

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/xqsJ_tXgLOg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    (YOUR VIDEO)

    Go to the Product page/Post where you want to embed it. Click the Text button in the editor. Paste in the code and update the page/post/product.
