    Is there a way to get WP Video Lightbox to work with video posts?

    Without success, I have tried different codes in the “Format: Video” form below the post. Also, if I place a text anchor at the top of the post, the lightbox will work if I click on the text, but not on the Youtube thumbnail that Hueman delivers.

    Any solutions? Or more compatible plugins?

  • Hi adieu. The plugin shortcode won’t work in the Video URL option of a video format post. You need to embed the shortcode in the post content. You don’t need to use the Video format, although doing so will add the fontawesome “video” icon on the post image of the home/archive page.
