Video is supposed to autoplay muted, now takes a second to mute

    Hi! Love your plugin – we are using it on joshlevs.com. I have a really weird thing that started happening we think in the last few weeks. We have a video on the homepage that autoplays, but muted. Was working as expected a few months ago, but now when you load the site you hear the video play for a second, then it mutes.

    Any ideas how to fix this? I don’t think we have made any other changes to the website, but we did update to the latest version of your plugin in the last few weeks, so that could be related.

    Unrelated, but we have never been able to get closed captioning to work either. Our embed code includes: &autoplay=1&loop=1&cc_load_policy=1

    We took a look at this. We were able to replicate it in some cases. We’ll work on a solution that we have in mind and add it to the next update.

    I’m having this same problem with the free version. Sound is on for a few seconds, then mutes. If I upgrade to PRO will this not happen? Also, if I upgrade to pro, can we set it up so that the video RESTARTS when someone UNMUTES the video? Is that possible?

    There’s a possible fix to this in version 11.8. Please upgrade.
