• Hello to all the forum;

    I was wondering if a small video of 10 seconds can be added on the homepage that starts automatically when the page is loaded and once the video ends and the start page appears behind it. As if it were an intro.

    Thanks in advance

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Yes it’s all possible, but will you drive your users away?

    Hi @anevins;

    What do you mean, I will expel my users?
    It is not advisable to add a video at the beginning? Something I have read about that but many very elegant pages still preserve video as an introduction.
    What is your opinion about this? I like to know all points of view.
    PS: Thank you very much for the plugin link

    The reason I have caution is because people expect websites to load in a couple of seconds these days.

    With the video intro, users will still have to wait a second for your server to respond, then another few seconds for your website to load, then 10 seconds to see your video, and only then your website will make itself visible to the user.

    Unless someone really wants or needs to see your content, they will navigate away.
