Video in Post

    Hi, I love the new Baskerville theme! On the site demo at https://andersnoren.se/themes/baskerville/, toward the bottom of the page there is a post with the heading “Animation: Bob by Jacob Frey” Underneath is the video. I can’t get videos to show up in this way. When I embed a video in a post it doesn’t show up on the main page of posts. I’ve tried the video post format, and that doesn’t seem to do it. Can you tell me what I need to do? Thank you for your help!

    Hi,

    If you select the video format, a meta box with the title “Video URL” should appear. Paste the link to the video into it and save the post. The video should now be displayed in the video container.

    I tried your solution but when i selected the video format “Video URL” did not appear. I pasted the url, no luck, pasted the embed code, no luck. the embedded video works on my wordpress.com site but not the .org. (with .com I just paste the embed code.).
