Is it possible that the plugin is stopping my video from buffering? Specially in mobile version, the vido stops and dont wait for the buffer. Then i have to play it and stops again just 3 or 4 seconds later. When the cache is done the video goes ok. Its my last chance to figure this out.

    Thanks

Good day to you. Can you please let me know the size of the video file?

Hi Jose thanks for your time. The video is about 16M, the issue happened with different videos, all the same size aprox.

I recently founded that if i link the video to an external server it works fine.

and it only happens in the homepage

Thanks for sharing the details. Can you please add the same video to any other page and share the link over here?

Sure, the same video is here

I found this documentation online and i thinks it′s the same issue

i.m not a coder so i can′t figure out the details. To me it happens mostly on Android after deleting cache, and sometimes in Edge in icognito on teh desktop.
If i deactivate the plugin the error is still there until i uninstall the plugin.

    I hope this can help.

Hi Jose just in xase youare still there, two more clues:

    1. Sad, but the workaround of linking a external hosted video was just an illusion. The error when you delete cache is still there.

    2. I got these error messages in the console when i load the page. I dont know if its related but sounds strange to me. Thanks!!

16 SuperPWA: Current request is excluded from cache. superpwa-sw.js:50

And all this stuff in my staging site where i uninstalled the plugin!

Hi Again, finally creating a subdomain and linking all the videos as external file did the trick. Tha error not only happened in homepage as i thought, it was in the first page you load after deleting caché, inner sections included.

If therés a future further explanation i′ll be glad to hear about it, but for now get the thing working is more than enough.

    Thanks for all!!

Sorry for the delay in responding and glad to know that you have fixed the issue. I think as the video file is of somewhat a large-sized or vide type have some restrictions mainly caused this issue. As you have moved the file to a subdomain its not caching now as it’s out of the scope and helps to work it without any glitches. Not sure whether my thoughts are correct or not, there’s a chance for the same. I will look into this case once I get some time to play around it.

    Stay Safe and Healthy!
