Video in a blog

  • I want to start a new and different(for me) blog. I wanted to use a lot of video media and audio. I obviously don’t know what I am doing and have reached a road block already by being limited in space.

    Can you direct me to a book or tutor that can get me started. My previous
    blogs were mostly text. I want to go in a new direction with more video media. I thought Power Press might help.

    I really would appreciate some direction.

    Hosting video in WP is interestign. You can easily embed anything from YouTube or Vimeo by pasting in the URL of the video. But you can also pay for hosting with VideoPress.

    Self hosting means you have to install a video player on your WP install, and allow for people to watch videos from different devices (i-devices can’t watch FLVs for example). And most people go to external hosting, which can generate that dynamically for you.
