• Using the Twenty Seventeen video header option on a static front page mostly looks normal. However, sometimes (not every time) when I use the back arrow to return to the home page, the video is washed out with a white glare that is not part of the video. My selected background picture also doesn’t show when using the back arrow (Firefox browser 59.0.2; 32 bit). A screenshot of the glare is downloadable from https://www.bloh2o.com/20-17_Theme_Backlit_Issue.png

It’s not a showstopper, but feels untidy. Any ideas?

I would love to replicate the glare problem but am struggling to do so, what operating system does the problem occur on?

    Hi Andrew,

This was on a 32 nit windows 10 system.

Does the glare happen midway through a video or would it appear at the very start?

Midway through and only if I left the home page and returned with the browser back arrow.

    I’m afraid I can’t replicate that problem.

    Which background picture is this?

It’s a larger version of the picture lower down on the home page of a few divers next to a ship wreck. I see the background image fleetingly on first load, as I should, but get a black “header” screen when returning to the home page with the back arrow
