Complianz does not yet contain an integration with the ‘YotuWP’ plugin. If it doesn’t work out-of-the-box with our YouTube integration activated, this plugin will most-likely require an integration.

You may submit a feature request for an integration with that plugin here, so we can look into it for a future release of Complianz: https://complianz.io/feature-requests/

Server side blocking, which is what happens with the shortcode, often causes issues with caching, as the page is hard cached in blocked modus. If you add the ‘cache_redirect=true’ attribute to the shortcode, the page will redirect after consent.

Hi, thank you for the replies. I have added the redirect attribute, but it is still not working. Is it a problem, that there is a short code within a short code?
I have not yet a Premium membership, hence I cant request for an integration…

A shortcode in a shortcode is indeed not going to work. I’ll have a look.

This blocks the Yotu method of loading youtube until consent.

I have tried the integration and updated/uploaded the 4 files. I am getting the place holder with the banner now, but when I check the page with cookieyes.com, it seems that the cookies are still being loaded before the consent is given.

I have deactivated the plugin WP Fastest Cache and now it is working, the cookies are not set anymore before consent.

I have added the script url from YotuWP to the block list as well:

The plugin also seems to load the Youtube API without an actual iframe present on the page. This change prevents event the YotuWP javascript from loading without consent.

after more testing I realized another problem. I am having 5 playlists on my page. When clicking the consent banner on the place holder, the first playlist will be loaded. When I refresh the site after this, the second playlist gets loaded. But the other 3 playlists will not get loaded at all. Only after I give consent to statistics, then they will also get loaded. The same happens when I remove some of the playlists. If I keep only the last 2 playlists on the page, they will be loaded without the consent for statistics.

I am sorry, I didn’t realize this before.

@lavanya41 sorry for my late response, I missed your reply. I’ve made some changes to that branch, can you check if this helps? This works now on my testing environment.
