Hello, after much research, so far your plugin is exactly what I need!

As I move forward my issues are: When I upload a video from file it doesn’t show the thumbnail on the frontend, it only shows the title which is a link. I made sure in the back settings it wouldn’t do that.

Next, when it’s time to upload a comment, picture or video file, it takes about 45 seconds or more to upload each time.

Lastly, how do I remove the website bracket when individuals are posting?

Thanks in advanced for your help.

    Hello @alastingimpression,

    1. If the “Embed attachment?” option is checked, the video player should be displayed, otherwise the file name with the link to the video is displayed (as you just described). Have you checked this option in the plugin settings?

    2. I think it depends on the size of the file, the speed of your internet connection, the performance of the hosting provider’s server, and possibly some plugins that may affect it.

    3. “the website bracket”? What do you mean?

Hello, thanks for getting back to me.

    1. I discovered that .MP4 files will display but .MOV files only show a link. Is there a way to change that?

    2. You’re correct concerning the size or internet speed I saw a difference in posting today.

    3. Lastly, when someone goes to post it asks for Name, Email and Website. Is there a way to remove the website part?

    1. As far as I know, no. You can use mp4 or webm formats.

    3. DCO Comment Attachmeht has no control over it. This is the WordPress core territory. Try, for example, this tutorial. Hope this helps.
