Video Embed & Thumbnail Generator Not working

  • Hello, this is the first time that I used the plugin, It’s confusing that the plugin has a good rating but it’s not working for me, what’s the problem is it compatible with the WP 3.3? I’m embedding a video form YouTube and when I click the button to generate a thumbnail it’s just loading, not working.. Is there a problem?

    Video Embed & Thumbnail Generator , I’m using this plugin to embed the video and at the same time to generate a thumbnail automatically.. but it’s not working I already downgraded my wordpress form 3.3 to 3.2.1 but still not working and even the “insert to post” button seems like disabled.

    The plugin doesn’t work with YouTube. It’s not designed to. WordPress already has a built-in system for embedding videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, etc. Just put the URL into your post and WordPress will automatically convert it to an embedded video using oEmbed. You don’t need this plugin to do that. If you’re trying to generate new thumbnails from YouTube videos, I’m not going to risk Google’s wrath by providing that functionality. I’m not even sure I could figure out how to do it anyway.

    It is compatible with version 3.3.

    But you should have it to work with youtube, i don’t want to create new thumbnails, but you should definitely make it work with youtube.

    Since my plugin makes thumbnails, re-encodes videos, and embeds them in WordPress pages, and you can’t make thumbnails or re-encode YouTube videos, and WordPress can already embed YouTube videos perfectly well without my plugin, what would you want my plugin to do if it “worked with YouTube”?

    i would want it to only embed youtube videos in it, i can do the thumbnails myself.

    Youtube and Veoh and Vimeo should be added ??

    I think that it would be the perfect plugin if we can embedded from another source.

    how about a watermark option.

    WordPress can already embed YouTube and Vimeo videos without a plugin. If what you’re looking for is changing the skin or changing the thumbnail, use the JW Player plugin.
