video embed doesn’t work with AMP plugin

    I have just installed a clean template from Neve and I noticed the default video embed in the homepage doesn’t play when the AMP plugin is active. Any ideas what the solution is?

    Thank you for the support topic, As we checked your site’s home page it seems you have added a youtube video using elementor editor

    The Elementor editor uses javascript in order to display the embed, javascript is blocked on AMP pages in order to create valid AMP pages.

    We have already opened issue with elementor, You can follow this GitHub issue for future updates on Elementor compatibility.

    For now, you can use the elementor’s custom HTML widget (screenshot) add iframe embed code you get from youtube (screeshot)

    You can also try using the AMP Enhancer plugin, which adds an additional layer of AMP compatibility for Elementor and several other plugins.
