Video can’t be displayed in fullscreen mode

Hello!
I know the plugin has been dead for two years already, but it still works very well. Maybe someone encountered the same issue and could give me a hint: embeded videos, whether from youtube or through wordpress video tag, can’t be displayed in fullscreen mode. Playback stops and jumps back to the embeded view as soon as the fullscreen button is clicked.
