Video Box compatibility with V2.6

I have tried using the plugin and the direct method of loading the videobox files required by FTP. I can get the player to work on pages that have a custom template that call the lightbox Video but I can not get it working using the same code on a regular page.

I am trying to load my own FLV video and each time I click the link all get is the option to download the the FLV instead of the video player.

Any ideas?
